On Christmas Eve St. Mary’s has its annual Crib Service at Church at 4.00pm. This year as well as traditional carols we are celebrating the very first crib scene which was organised by St. Francis of Assisi to teach the villagers about the Christmas story.
Like St. Francis we will be making a live crib in church. We are also inviting you to bring your home nativity set to church with you if you have one, we will display them all and they will be blessed. If your children want to come in a nativity costume they are welcome and there will, as always be costumes available at church for children who want to dress up and be part of the live crib scene. We look forward to seeing you on 24th December.
