Come along to St John the Evangelist, Preston, Brighton on Saturday 28 October at 7pm & spend an evening in the company of The Imaginary Friends Duo. This talented duo perform popular songs old and new with their exquisite harmonies and range of instruments adding to beautiful guitar accompaniments.

Free entry, with a retiring collection so please pay-as-you-can. And bring-a-bottle/drinks & snacks to enjoy too.

There's plenty of free on-street parking in Knoyle Road & the streets around the church. Buses 5, 5A, 17, 270, 271, 272, 273 all stop nearby (alight Preston Drove & 2-minute walk). Preston Park station is 5 minutes' walk away (steps to all platforms, exit via Claremont Road).

St John the Evangelist

Welcome to the Parish Church of St John the Evangelist, Preston, Brighton, a lively Anglican church in the suburbs of north Brighton. St John's is a welcoming, friendly, creative and outward-looking church, in a central/catholic tradition and is affiliated to the Inclusive Church network.

The church community is committed to fostering spiritual and numerical growth and to engaging more effectively with our local community.

There's a Eucharist with hymns at St John's every Sunday at 10am followed by refreshments, as well as a mid-week Eucharist on Wednesday mornings at 10am followed by Preston Coffee Pot, a community cafe.
