St Wilfrid's is an Evangelical church and is committed to the authority of Scripture.
Our style of worship service is best described as contemporary and we are committed to prayer and praise and supporting one another as we wait for the return of Jesus Christ to set up his eternal kingdom.
Because we honour Jesus as Lord, we seek to take seriously his 'Great Commission' to proclaim the gospel. This we do by reaching out to our community; encouraging witness in the work place; and by supporting missions outside the parish. We strive to maintain strong links with local schools and to be relevant to the mix of ages and backgrounds in our locality.
We enjoy good relations with our sister church (St John's Polegate) and with other groups and churches, particularly our neighbouring Apostolic Church.
We are always happy to have visitors to our Sunday 10am service. There is also a regular mid-week Holy Communion service on Wednesdays at 10am.
