it was a pleasure at our APCM to give thanks for the 20 years of dedicated service by Peter Toone to Holy Cross church in the role of Churchwarden.  He will be replaced by Nikki Hughes who is planning to step into Peter's footsteps in many ways, but maybe not following his jokes!  We were pleased to release Peter into his new role as house chef, and provided him with some meal vouchers alongside the cookery book, just in case Wendy gets hungry.  Peter continues to serve the church in many ways and we are grateful for all he and Wendy bring to our community.

Please pray for Nikki as she begins to understand what she has taken on and that she will grow in confidence as she serves our community.
