Please gather for the Act of Witness, held in St Mary's Churchyard at 11.15am. As St Mary's is situated in the middle of Shoreham a special welcome is extended to any Christian who wishes to gather in this way and share this act of witness.

A short while later Eucharist is held inside St Mary's, starting at noon.

Good Friday is the most sombre day of the Christian calendar when the crucifixion and death of Jesus is commemorated in churches and cathedrals.

St Mary de Haura

Welcome to St Mary de Haura, New Shoreham.

With a heritage dating back over 900 years, St Mary de Haura stands at the heart of Shoreham-by-Sea, both spiritually and physically. We are open all day, 7 days a week between 10am and 3pm, for visitors to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the church building.

Our children's group, SHINE, is open to all children, from 0-11 years old.  This is on 2nd & 4th Sundays in St Mary's Hall, during the 10am Sunday service.
