We are a friendly, inclusive and welcoming group affiliated to the World Community of Christian Meditation. We meet at St Thomas's Church, Groombridge on the first Wednesday of each month for meditation. This draws directly on the tradition of meditation in the Christian tradition but is open to people of all faiths and philospohies.

The first six sessions will be an ideal way to dip your toe into meditation as we will be revisiting the core practice and background to meditating in the Christian tradition.

St Thomas The Apostle Groombridge

A very warm welcome to St Thomas the Apostle, the parish church of the village of Groombridge in the beautiful High Weald of East Sussex. We seek to be an open, inclusive and welcoming church for people of all ages and backgrounds. The church building is open every day as a contemplative place for prayer and reflection.

On Sundays we meet at 9.30 am for our main time of worship as we celebrate God's presence in word and sacrament, in silence and in song. There are groups on Sunday for children and young people. And through the week there are a range of home groups and more informal gatherings for prayer, worship and fellowship, including a regular meditation group.

Whether this is your first visit, or you have been coming here for many years, you are very welcome in this place.
