Safeguarding & Church Policies
The Diocesan Children’s Safeguarding Policy has been adopted by St Thomas the Apostle Groombridge and is implemented in all our work with children and young people. It is the responsibility of the Safeguarding Officer for Children and Vulnerable Adults, Beverley Hollands, to ensure that the necessary people are familiar with and adhere to this policy. This includes taking up references and carrying out other checks on the volunteers working in the various children’s groups as well as providing advice, support and training.
