Curious about faith? Alpha is a series that explores the basics of the Christian faith in a welcoming, open and friendly environment. It’s free and there’s no pressure or follow-up. Each session you’ll be hosted in a group where you’ll hear different topics on Christianity, and have time to chat through any thoughts. You can say anything you like or nothing at all. A simple lunch will be served and there will be a creche available. Everyone’s welcome. No matter your background or beliefs, you’re invited. We are delighted to announce that Revd Simon Shorey has been appointed Associate Vicar at St Mark’s Holbrook.Simon has been serving his curacy at The Point, Burgess Hill which is a Bishops’ Mission Order Church itself created as a church plant a number of years ago. Simon, his wife Lou and their four children, Jacob, Abe, Solomon and Ella will be coming to St Mark’s in November. A licensing service for Simon will be held at St Mark's on Monday 7 November at 7pm. This is incredibly exciting news and the leadership team and PCC are thrilled by Simon’s appointment. Please do pray for Simon and his family, as his time at The Point draws to a close and he prepares to start work at St Mark’s.
