A festive and contemplative service of carols, readings and a short talk. Followed by mulled wine and mince pies.

Great Services for Families

We’d love your children to join Joseph and Mary to be part of our ‘no rehearsal Nativity’.

Come at 10am dressed as a shepherd or angel, or we will endeavour to provide a costume on arrival. After a service that will be a beautiful mixture of chaos and serenity, stay for refreshments.

Christingle Service, Sunday 24th December, Christmas Eve, 4pm
Our much-loved service for families to start ‘Christmas proper’. Particularly aimed at younger children, our puppet cast will tell the Christmas story interspersed with some simple carols. Then we will hand out Christingles, hear their meaning and light their candles - always a truly wonderful moment.
Refreshments will be served after the service.

Children are welcome to bring and show a favourite present. Our Christ Church family looks
forward to welcoming your family as we celebrate Christmas, the birth of our Saviour Jesus Christ, together.
