Since the retirement of our Rector, Father Ray Smith, at the end of October 2020, our parish has been in vacancy (interregnum).

We are delighted to announce that on Friday 1 October at 7.30pm the Bishop of Chichester, assisted by the Archdeacon of Horsham, will celebrate a special Eucharist at St Wilfrid’s Church, Church Road, at which the Institution and Induction of Fr Edward Pritchett will take place.

This will mark the start of Fr Edward’s ministry as our new Rector of St Wilfrid’s Parish, Haywards Heath.

Meanwhile since Easter Day 2021 the Sunday services at St Wilfrid's Church have resumed, with Eucharist at 9.00am. Kindly note that social distancing is being observed, and you are asked to wear a face mask while you are in church.

On Sunday 3 October at 9.00am Fr Edward will be celebrating Eucharist with a Harvest theme at St Wilfrid's Church. This service will also be live-streamed and then made available as a recording on our Parish Facebook videos page, where our previous Sunday services at St Wilfrid's can also be viewed: https://www.facebook.com/pg/stwilfridshaywardsheath/videos

If you can't attend at 9.00am, also on Sunday 3 October Fr Edward will be celebrating Eucharist with a Harvest theme at the Presentation Church, New England Road at 10.30am.
