Join us at our Church of the Presentation of Christ in the Temple, New England Road, at its T junction with Western Road, for our Sunday Sung Eucharist at 11am each Sunday (except on a few occasions such as Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday, when it is an hour earlier at 10am, or in early October, when we join the other church in our parish, St Wilfrid's, Church Road, for its patronal festival). PLEASE NOTE: our Eucharist service starts at 10am on both Palm Sunday, 13 April, and Easter Sunday, 20 April 2025 followed by refreshments in the Presentation Hall. We also have a 10am Liturgy of Good Friday service on Good Friday 18 April 2025. DON'T forget to wind your clocks FORWARD by 1 hour on Saturday 29 March 2025! (On 27 April our Sunday service returns to the usual time of 11am after refreshments first in the Hall from 10.15am.)

From the Hall there is a magnificent view over Victoria Park to the South Downs.

Every Wednesday at 12 noon you are very welcome to join us at St Wilfrid's Church, Church Road, for our Said Eucharist service.

Every Second Monday and Fourth Monday afternoon of the month you are most welcome to join us, from 2.30pm to 4pm, for free-of-charge tea or coffee and cake and a friendly chat in the Presentation Church Hall, New England Road, at its T junction with Western Road.

Every first Sunday of the month at St Wilfrid's Church, in addition to our weekly 9.30am Sung Eucharist (Common Worship), we celebrate Holy Communion using the Book of Common Prayer. You will be most welcome.

You are most welcome to join us at St Wilfrid's Church, Church Road, at 6pm on the Second Sunday of the month for the beautiful traditional service of Choral Evensong, in which the singing is led by our choir and organist.

Afterwards there are complimentary refreshments served in the Church at about 6.45pm: do stay to join us to enjoy those.

ALSO, after the refreshments, from January 2024 at 7pm we present free concerts of about an hour, at which donations are invited for our St Wilfrid's Choral Scholarships for emerging local singers aged 12 to 18. This pays for their travel expenses to sing in the St Wilfrid's Choir in school term time and for tuition.

We warmly welcome visitors from all our local churches to our ecumenical candle-lit Taize service of prayers, silences and the singing of simple Taize Community chants. This half-hour worship is held every Third Wednesday of the month at 8pm in St Wilfrid's Church.

Please note: on Wednesday 16 April 2025 (during Holy Week) instead of our usual Taize service we shall be holding a candle-lit Tenebrae service at 8pm to which members of other churches are also invited. (Our usual ecumenical Taize services will resume on Wednesday 21 May at 8pm.)
