The feast of Michaelmas (29th Sept) traditionally marks the beginning of autumn, so this is a great invitation to pause and reflect on the passing of summer and the gifts that autumn has to offer us.
“Come apart and rest awhile,” said Jesus to his disciples in Mark 6. Dallas Willard commented centuries later - “If we don’t come apart for a while, then we will come apart after a while.” This is an opportunity to take some time apart to be with God in a retreat environment at St Mary’s. The retreat space will consist of four 30-minute guided sessions with either led meditations or suggestions for reflection. You are welcome to stay as long as you are able and leave at any point. Refreshments will be provided.
Please contact Liz if you are interested, by text or phone - 07813 933134.
