A joyful family event when we can say 'thank you' for our mothers or for any that have been like mothers to us. Flower posies are handed out and refreshments are served afterwards.

A chance to dig deeper and grow our faith. We meet in small groups and follow a course that takes us through all the way to Holy Week at the end of March. This year we're following the Church Urban Fund's 'Growing Good' course.
We have a group meeting every week on a Tuesday evening and another meeting fortnightly on a Friday daytime.

We walk together from the Parade to the church, led by the cross. Palm Sunday is when we recall Jesus arriving in Jerusalem on a donkey, shortly before he was condemned to death. This special day is the beginning of a week of special services called Holy Week, leading up to Easter.

A quiet evening devotion where we hear scripture and respond in prayer. The church is lit by candles and we contemplate Jesus's journey to the cross.

An evening event for Holy Week. The Stations of the Cross tell the story of Jesus going to his death. We meet to pray and worship God for the sacrifice Jesus made.

This ancient form of night prayer is part of our Holy Week devotions here at St Alban's.

Morning Eucharist. This quiet service is said (ie no hymns etc) and marks the beginning of the three holiest days leading up to Easter.

At this sung service we remember Jesus Last Supper with his friends before going to his death. We re-enact his washing the disciples' feet and pray for the grace to serve each other as Christ serves us.

A fun children's event with craft, music and snacks. Children must bring an adult. Free of charge.

A solemn, reflective service, with communion, where we recall Jesus' great sacrifice of himself on the cross.

We meet as it were in the darkness of the tomb. Then all is light and glory and we celebrate Jesus's victory over death! A joyful service full of hope in God's promises. Love wins!
