St Bartholomew, Burwash
We welcome you to St Bartholomew's Burwash, a beautiful medieval church in the heart of the High Weald. This is one of the three churches in the United Benefice of Burwash, Burwash Weald and Etchingham.
We have large numbers of visitors every year, quite often from overseas and often following a visit to the National Trust property, Bateman's. Many nice remarks are left in the visitors' book. The doors are open every day from about 9 am to dusk (but varying according to the season).

This PDF, which is an extract from the Church of England’s database of churches, can serve as a certificate for churches requiring proof of their charity status when registering for online and card-based giving.
