10am All age service with Communion and Easter Egg Hunt
Our 10am service encompasses contemporary worship and teaching, with Communion on the second and fourth Sundays of the month. We love to gather together as a church family to praise and pray. We long to go deeper in worship and to receive from God through his Word. If you are unable to join us in person, you can still join watch the service online. On 1 June 2025 we will join churches across the town at Eastbourne Bandstand at 10am
The 1st Meads Scout groups meet in the Jubilee Hall on Mondays (Beavers, 6-8 years, 6-7pm and Scouts, 10-14 years 7.30-9pm) and Wednesdays (Cubs 8-10 years, 6.30-8pm). Contact the leaders through St Jphn's Church office.
Every weekday morning we gather on Zoom to pray together.
A popular exercise class for adults
Knitting, crochet, card-making ... any craft is welcome. Bring your own or use the card-making supplies available.
Friendship, food, English conversation, advocacy, and crafts for adults and children from Ukraine.
Our Midweek Communion Service is held on Wednesdays at 11am and uses the Book of Common Prayer (BCP). The service usually lasts for around an hour. It includes three traditional hymns with the traditional BCP liturgy
For under fives and their mums, dads or carers - play, create, sing and explore life through toys, instruments, crafts and other activities. Term time only.
A community event with refreshments, a light lunch (£4), a paperback library, computer support, jigsaws and daily newspapers.

An interactive exhibition in the tower of St John's Church telling the stories of men from Meads who gave their lives in the First and Second World Wars.
An occasional evening service with robed clergy and choir
