Community Gathering

Occuring
for 1 hour
Venue
Parish Hall
Address
Parish Hall, Opposite the co-op, PO19 8RF

This year our Christmas Gift Appeal will again be in support of the Rotary Club of Chichester Harbour who distribute Christmas presents to people who would otherwise have nothing.

During November we are asking the whole Donnington community to take one of the tags from our fence at the Hall. Each tag will carry details of the person who you could shop for (for instance girl aged between 10 and 12)

Then at 5pm on Sunday 26th November we are asking you to bring these gifts to a special community event at the Hall which will include singing, mulled wine, readings and the lighting of both our Tree of Hope and the Donnington Star. Plus there will be a special appearance by Santa who will collect everyone’s presents to go in the Christmas sacks. Let’s spread the love in Donnington.

St George's Donnington

Welcome to St George's Donnington

We would love to see you and share our faith. We are a pretty 'middle of the road' church that opens its arms to all and shares the gifts that God gives us. Full details are in the section "Our Parish".

In short we meet in our lovely Saxon church in 'old Donnington' at 10 a.m on the second and fourth Sunday of the month and in our Hall in Stockbridge on other Sundays with the first being held 'cafe church' style. We have a prayer service at the Hall on Monday morning at 9am and another over Zoom each Friday at 8 am.

You can also meet members of our church every Saturday between 10 and 12 at the Hall where we have a cafe and collect for the Chichester Foodbank.
