Here you can make donations to Chichester Foodbank Drop-Off. To date Donnington has donated over 18 tonnes of food and life’s necessities and over £2,800 in cash; every bit going to local people in real need.
George’s Coffee Shop is an opportunity to catch up with friends and meet new ones over a coffee and cake and do so in warmth.
Everyone is welcome and you will find fellowship, friendship, laughter and a listening ear.
There is a Book and Puzzle swap, games to play and every third Saturday we offer support for those struggling with technology.
Held in the friendly setting of our ancient Saxon church, led by a range of amazing priests and supported by our marvellous organist this is a time to come together and share in God's love
We will be holding our popular Christmas Gift Appeal at the Hall with all gifts and proceeds going to those most in need in our community. This is how it works - we are asking everyone to take one of the tags from the Hall fence during November. You will see a description of the type of person you might shop for. Bring your gift (and tag) on the evening and Santa will make a special appearance to make sure it goes on the sleigh. We will also be lighting the Donnington Star and the Tree of Hope which always brightens up the darkness of December.
This is an opportunity for young, old and everyone in between to join in a community event to make a special Christmas Card/s for a parent, grandparent, friend, or their next door neighbour. Coffee and cake is on offer; as it is every Saturday.
This is a lovely all age service, with families most definitely welcome. Plenty of room and activities for children whilst we 'grown ups' share coffee, croissants and discuss how our faith (whether strong or not) guides our lived experience. Singing and prayer part of the package.
At our family ‘cafe church’ service in the hall we will be making Christingle Candles to mark the start of advent. We will also be collecting the piggy banks in aid of the Children’s Society.

This timeless service is held every year at St George’s and always proves the perfect antidote to the mad rush and a chance to catch our breaths, slow down, share in magical carols and know God’s love abounds. Please do wear warm clothes!
