St Mary Magdalene

Welcome to St Mary Magdalene, Cowden. This is a very ancient church where people have worshipped for over 800 years. Parts of the church date back to the 1200’s. You are very welcome to come and look round. The church is usually open from 10.00am to 4.00pm every day. There is a Visitors Guide available on the table as you enter the church.

We do hope you will join us for our Sunday Service which is at 11.00am each Sunday. You are assured of a warm welcome. We seek to know more about Jesus Christ and to make him known. At the close of each service refreshments are served and it is a real opportunity to get to know new people.

Also on the first Friday of each month we have a COMMUNITY DROP IN at the village hall for all ages to have a cuppa with friends from 10am - 12noon.

We do hope you enjoy your visit.
