What a joyous night it was when we celebrated the licensing of Reverend Canon Julie Sear as Priest in Charge of Cowden and the Reverend Stephen Hills as Associate Vicar of Cowden, and Hartfield with Colemans Hatch.  Julie Sear in her role as Rural Dean then installed Stephen Hills.  We then celebrated Eucharist.   Following the service we all had a great time of fellowship in the Village Hall when guests from Bidborough Ridge, Southborough, Hartfield, Colemans Hatch and Cowden all joined together.
