A group of us today had a super time at Messy Church learning what a Christingle means and making one.  The morning started with lighting an Advent Candle and talking about how excited we were about Christmas.  We even sang a Christingle song to the tune of The Holly and the Ivy.  We finished by making a circle of wool which we stood inside symbolising that Gods love surrounds us always and has no breaks in it.  The congregation at the Holy Communion Service enjoyed seeing what we had made.
