About Us

St. Wilfrid's Church is on the Parklands Estate, west of Chichester. Our vision is to know, love and follow Jesus. We are a sacramental Anglo Catholic community by tradition, the heartbeat of which centres around our celebration of the Holy Eucharist. Sundays and Wednesdays provide us with an opportunity to meet together to worship through the beauty of music, Word and Sacrament.

We are an inclusive church that celebrates and welcomes the broad diversity of our society. We would warmly invite anyone who may be seeking a sacred place to call home to join our community. We are currently experiencing a time of growth and great blessing as The Holy spirit is moving amongst us. We have a flourishing youth programme, comprising a varied age range of children who meet every Sunday. Our Wednesday morning Low Mass is a more traditional service, and serves a very faithful group of more senior members. There is also an opportunity to have a coffee and catch up after each of these services.

St Wilfrid’s has strong links to Bishop Luffa school as our Priest-in-Charge is employed by the school as Chaplain. We warmly welcome and encourage potential students to the school and are able to provide an engaging, spiritual journey to entry for both students and their families. In the coming year, we are seeking God's providence for our church and parish. In all we do, we long to know love and follow Jesus. Hope to see you soon!
