It runs throughout the year so that the work and members of each and every area in which Mothers' Union is active is prayed for at some point. On 26-28 February prayers are for the following Dioceses: Mundri in South Sudan; Madi & West Nile in Uganda; Isikwuatu in Nigeria; Chichester in England and Seoul in South Korea. We will gather and pray over a lunch of soup and rolls.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Aldwick: St Richard is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Chichester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO Jane Thomson 07900 843 322 or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor Colin Perkins. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
