Mission Statement

The churches of St Wilfrid’s Burnsall and St John the Baptist Appletreewick are part of the one holy, catholic and apostolic church of Jesus Christ.

The Clergy, Churchwardens and members of the Parochial Church Council are committed to deepening our personal and corporate commitment to Christ, sharing the Good News of his life, death and resurrection with all, and building fellowship amongst the community of faith and beyond. We are also committed to promoting and embodying the Gospel values of love, service, justice and reconciliation through our worship, study and educational and social activities.

We welcome visitors to our church buildings and Christian communities, and seek to help them appreciate all aspects of the rich heritage of which we are the custodians.
