Common Worship .

Bread and wine will be offered in Communion and from 13 September, we will be using the chalice.
Please respect those who do not want close contact yet.
Paper activities will be available for children to do in the pews.

On Remembrance Sunday 10 November, there will be a short said Communion, with an Act of Remembrance around the war memorial from 10.50am. will include the observing of the two minutes silence.
We will be looking on the day for volunteers to read the names from the War Memorial and perhaps to read the Remembrance verse ("We will remember them). There will be an opportunity in the short service to lay flowers/poppy wreaths at the War Memorial.

On the second Sunday of the month, we normally have a sung Eucharist with our choir (not this November!).

Donations to the Food Bank are welcome.

Our ONLINE Team bible study is organised by Compton church - it is open to all whether linked to the Hermitage team of churches or not.

Leading up to Christmas, we will be running a four part online Advent Course entitled "Travelling Light".

Light Squad, the church youth group for Year 9 onwards, meets in the Wilkins Centre beside the village hall or elsewhere. Location and programme is flexible so - contact Cathy as email below before coming!!
Light Squad offers more serious exploration of Christian faith, with topics as suggested by members.

A Team service is held every fifth Sunday; this service rotates around the churches of the Hermitage team. This will normally be the only routine service in the team.

Do come and join us in our community worship!

A short, informal service for people of all ages. Services may be held in church or the village hall .
Come and see how our worship team reach out to all ages.
Expect songs, activities, exploring the bible, teaching and prayer in a friendly environment.
Services are suitable for everybody and, of course, there'll be free coffee and refreshments.
