St Peter's & St Leonard's Churches

We are a friendly bunch of people made up of different ages and backgrounds and we would love you to join us!

We try to be faithful followers of Jesus, taking the Bible seriously and being led by the God's Holy Spirit.

Currently we hold an 8am BCP said Communion service every Sunday Morning and a 10am Morning Praise (CW) service (Holy Communion on the second Sunday) at St Peter'. We continue to live stream Morning Prayer at 9am and Evening Prayer at 5pm (Common Worship) from Monday to Friday and our Sunday Service at 10am - either Morning Praise (Common Worship) or "Holy Communion" (Common Worship). All are streamed via Facebook Live - www.facebook.com/iverparishchurch

We also have a quiet reflective (Common Worship) Holy Communion service at 12 noon every Thursday currently at St Leonard's and moving to St Peter's from 3rd September. where there is also the opportunity to receive prayers for healing.

Below are details of our normal services (outside of the current situation):

Our church attracts a broad range of people from different church backgrounds and traditions and therefore we offer a variety of services. Every Sunday there is an 8am BCP said Communion service at St Peter's and then we have 10am (Common Worship) services at both St Peter's and St Leonard's with a variety of music including both traditional hymns and contemporary worship songs. There is usually Holy Communion (CW) at 10am at St Leonard's on the 1st Sunday of each month and at 10am at St Peter's on the 2nd Sunday of each month.

Children's activities / Sunday school are provided every week during term time at the 10am service at St Peter's and at the Combined 10am service on the 4th Sunday of the month

On the fourth Sunday of each month there is a combined 10am service. The venue for the Combined Service alternates between St Peter's and St Leonard's churches, please check our website or facebook page for details www.iverparishchurch.org.uk / www.fb.com/iverparishchurch

We also have a quiet reflective (Common Worship) Holy Communion service at 12 noon every Thursday at St Peter's where there is also the opportunity to receive prayers for healing.

Along with our Sunday and midweek Worship we also provide services of Baptism, Weddings, and Funerals.

We also have Home Groups for friendship, Bible study and prayer, regular prayer meetings and a full calendar of social events

The parish of Iver is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Oxford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
