About Us

St. Peter's is the parish church in the centre of Irthlingborough,, The famous lantern tower once used as a beacon  to guide travelers through the notoriously dangerous Nene Valley now dominates the town skyline. Irthlingborough itself was once famed for its boot and shoe industry. The Church continues to be a diverse and welcoming community with a strong emphasis on the sacramental life. The Eucharist is at the heart of our worship.

Our mission statement is to spread the good news of Jesus Christ through worship, prayer, fellowship and service.
