Gaulby: St Peter

Welcome to our 13th century church of St Peter in the small Leicestershire village of Gaulby, 7 miles east of the city of Leicester. We are part of the Gaulby Group of 4 churches and the Launde Deanery Minster Community. Despite its small size, Gaulby has a strong sense of community and there are a number of local events and activities that take place throughout the year. Gaulby is a charming and picturesque village that offers a peaceful and idyllic way of life.

Safeguarding

The parish of Gaulby is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Leicester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
