A traditional devotion as we walk the 14 Stations of the Cross on Good Friday

St WIlfrid, Harrogate

St Wilfrid Harrogate is one of the Major parish churches of England, and the only grade 1 listed building in Harrogate. Founded in the Anglo-Catholic tradition, we continue that in our worship, life, work and discipleship today.

Our life of faith centers on the celebration of the mass (Holy Communion, the eucharist) and we do so on a 'daily' basis Monday to Friday as well as on Sunday morning.

We use all the senses in our worship. On Sundays, there is rich music and ceremonial and incense is used. This helps us approach the God who seeks the conversion of both our hearts and minds.

If you have any enquiries, they can be dealt with by the Parish office team. Please email: [email protected]

The parish of Harrogate: St Wilfrid is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Leeds’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
