St Peter's Church in Wrockwardine is one of the twelve parishes in the benefice of Haughmond and Wrekin. Our parish is centred on the village of Wrockwardine but it extends to cover the suburban villages of Admaston, Allscott, and Bratton.
We offer two services in the church on a Sunday including an all-age Family Service on the first Sunday in the month. JIGSAW, our group for young children meets in the Village Hall on the second and fourth Sundays. In addition, we hold a midweek service on Wednesdays and Praise & Play for toddlers and their parents/carers on a Friday during term time. There's much more with Forest Church at the local Academy on the third Sunday, Coffee mornings, and private prayer each Tuesday lunchtime. We also offer Messy Church, family friendly inter-generational worship, in other parishes in our benefice each Sunday. On the First Sunday in a month this is at High Ercall Village Hall. Rodington is the host church on the second Sunday in the village hall.. Ellerdine Village Hall is the location on the third Sunday each month.
Our parish of Wrockwardine St Peter is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO).
