Money is a powerful thing. Perhaps in these uncertain times we’re feeling, “I’ll be OK, I’ll survive the uncertainties of coming out of lockdown if I just have a little bit more.” But can wealth give us the security we hope for? This is the question James looks at today as he takes on the persona of an Old Testament fire and brimstone prophet to warn us of the dangers of false expectations and of the harm we can do if we get obsessed with wealth.
