On Saturday 6th July, we were treated to a Family Games Night which included our very own Family Fortunes, Open the Box and Play Your Cards Right along with other games and activities.A great time was had by all!
On Saturday 22nd June, the smell of sizzling sausages wafted across Willenhall as members of St Stephen's, St Anne's and St Giles' gathered for our annual Willenhall Churches BBQ.The sun shone down on us and a delicious time of food and fellowship was enjoyed by all, thanks to our gourmet chef Revd Mike!
On Saturday 22nd June, in a packed St Peter's Church in Wolverhampton, our Curate Revd Kerry was ordained priest by Michael, the Bishop of Lichfield. Kerry was ordained alongside 7 of her fellow deacons and was supported by a large number of friends and family and a sizable contingent from St Stephen's.On Sunday 23rd Revd Kerry presided for the first time at the Eucharist. This was a joyful occasion and was celebrated with a great deal of cake and Prosecco!
On Saturday 8th June, the St Stephen's Children and Families Team took our Messy Church 'on tour' to this year's Willenhall Carnival.Based in the Churches Together in Willenhall marquee, many children popped along to our children's area to enjoy Bible stories and craft on a beautiful sunny day.It was a real joy to meet so many new children and to share stories of God's love with them.
