On Saturday 19th October, a roomful of quizzers gathered at St Stephen's for the annual Quiz Night. Hosted by Quizmaster Mary, 12 teams battled it out for the title of Quiz Champions 2024!With many biscuits, cobs and cups of tea consumed throughout the evening and 8 rounds of questions on a whole variety of subjects, a great time was had by all!
Over the weekend of 7th-8th September the St Stephen's Church family was celebrating a very important event. The weekend marked the 45th Anniversary of the new church's Dedication.We celebrated this important birthday with a community BBQ and games afternoon on Saturday, a special celebration service followed by a bring and share lunch on Sunday and rounding off the weekend with a celebration concert by the Willenhall Singers.A fantastic weekend was had by all!
A great turn out for St Stephen's first ever Pet Blessing Service.The congregation were very well behaved and the singing was almost in tune!Great to be able to welcome 2 legged and 4 legged service-goers alike.
This week St Stephen's hosted 51 children on our annual Activity Week.Our theme this year was ‘Animal Antics’, and over the 5 days, we explored Noah, the Good Shepherd, Daniel, Jesus’ donkey and Jonah! We also had a great time, singing, crafting, playing, competing, pond-dipping, animal tracking, kite flying, bouncing, glitter tattooing, pizza eating and generally having a ball!
