We are an inclusive Anglican church where you are always welcome.
We are a place for people of all faiths and none to be still; a place to come close to God, a place to reflect and be peaceful and to BE.
St Mary's is a holy Christian place to worship together and a place to enjoy the company of others. We offer a rich variety of Christian worship. We also offer a retreats programme to promote spiritual development.
As a church, we dedicate our lives to the love and praise of God and the love and service of our neighbour, seven whole days, not one in seven.

Through our baptism each of us has a ministry in the body of Christ and we encourage each other to find and exercise that ministry.
We support our local Armed Forces and the Armed Forces Covenant.
We have a strong ministry in supporting families for baptisms, weddings, blessings and funerals.
God accepts each of us as we are and we in turn accept each other and welcome all who come to share our worship. We believe that, in Christ, there are no divisions and we seek to break down barriers between us and to celebrate the richness of the diverse and multi-cultural world-wide Anglican Church of which we are part.
With all our faults and weaknesses, qualities and joys, we are a family and a home, offering friendship and support, open to all who live in our parish and beyond.

WEDDINGS
We are a wonderful church for weddings and close to many quality wedding reception venues including directly opposite the church. You will be supported in making this amongst the most memorable and special of days.
BAPTISMS/ Christenings
A baptism is a real blessing in every child's life and that of their family. Contact Lynne Mills (Parish Administrator) to make arrangements for your child's baptism. Adults can be baptised too and we welcome all who wish to explore a personal faith.
