The Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) is a significant event in the parochial year during which elections for lay members of the PCC are held, and usually follows the Annual Meeting of Parishioners (vestry meeting) when Churchwardens are elected. The APCM receives reports on changes to the electoral roll, general parish activities and financial matters. The APCM also elects new members to the PCC and to deanery synod every three years.

"The parish of Whittington: St Giles is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Lichfield’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA.
