St. Laurence Anglican Church, Chapel Chorlton

Welcome to St Laurence Anglican Church in Chapel Chorlton, Staffordshire.

St Laurence is a Grade II listed village church just off the A51 at Stableford. It is part of the benefice of Chapel Chorlton, Maer and Whitmore. The church is generally open during daylight hours, but if you want to ensure that the church is open, then contact one of the Church Warden Sue Griffiths.

The church is associated with the parishes of Whitmore and Maer and there is a rotation of services between the churches. Every other Sunday at 9.30am we have a Holy Communion service with hymns and songs of an hour long, with a children's corner. Around 16 -20 attending. On alternate Sundays there is a 9.30am Communion service at the sister church of Maer, a mile away. There are soft toys and colouring sheets in the children's corner, and refreshments are served after each 9.30am service.
