***ONLINE*** Beginning at 12 noon on Wednesday 19th October , Bishop Michael will be leading the Diocese in 24 hours of prayer, concentrating on rethinking our mission for the diocese. Deaneries have played a central role in 'Shaping for Mission' and each deanery will have an hour's slot in the 24 hours of prayer. Service at Chorlton Green Farm, a working farm in the centre of our community. Rogation is a traditional service held to ask for God’s blessing upon the land and the work of those who farm it. Rogation Sunday is the time to give thanks for the earth and to pray for a bountiful harvest. The service will include prayers, hymns and reading, and afterwards refreshments as we gather in the farm garden. Join us for this open air service as we celebrate all that is good in our rural community.
