The Lent Calendar
‘I will praise God’s name in song
and glorify Him in thanksgiving …
this will please the Lord
more than sacrifices.’
Psalm 69 vs 30
Rather than giving something up, the Lent calendar encourages us to give thanks each day, in the knowledge that this makes God happy.
So for the Lent Calendar...
-- Insert a name/place/thing for each day. (There are suggestions on the back of the calendar.)
-- Give thanks for that person/place.
-- And know that our only aim is to make God glad, not to ask for anything.
-- Place the calendar in a place where you will see it each day.
-- And give thanks to God daily.
The calendars are available at the back of each church – do please collect one, or you can download the PDF and print at home.
