Soon after William the Conqueror arrived, Norman builders began work on the church Gayton. You can still see the original Norman arch inside the church!
Resurrection People (that is what followers of Jesus are) do not leave their joy in church or throw it away with the Easter Egg packaging. They bubble with joy all year, and share that joy by showing kindness and compassion to everyone we meet!
This year Mid-Trent wants to celebrate Palm Sunday with something a little different. Those who will enjoy a longer walk will meet at St Andrews, Weston at 9-45am. They will carry a cross along the towpath and offer palm crosses to anyone they meet.
