Almighty God, our Heavenly Father, we give you thanks for our parish of Fradswell and our splendid countryside. We thank you for the human friendship, neighbourliness and expertise which prevail in our community. We give thanks for our Diocese, for our Bishops, for the Mid-Trent Churches Team and those who support and work with them. We pray that you will guide and lead us in the right direction in the third millennium of Jesus Christ. We especially pray for a new start with God. It is never too soon, it is never too late, to shoulder your burden and make a new start, with a song in your soul and hope in your heart. We pray for the worlds poor, and for peace and unity in all nations. give us time, O Lord, for silence and for reflection; to draw from God the things we need most to enrich our lives and our homes: hope, courage, grace and knowledge. We pray for our families and that all our young people will grow and prosper in the love of our Lord, Jesus Christ. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, we give you thanks and pray that in your gracious mercy you grant all our parishioners the enduring power of faith and trust in your grace and blessing.
