Weston and Gayton Parish Council

Dear Weston and Gayton residents, I hope this message finds you well and in good spirits.

On behalf of myself and your Parish Councillors I’m keen to share an update on some of the important items that affect our community and have been discussed at our most recent council meeting. I’m thrilled to announce that we have engaged relevant suppliers to explore the implementation of new playground equipment that will supplement our existing facilities on The Green. While we plan only a modest addition, our ambition is to continue to evolve the safe and fun environment in which our children play and develop. I am also pleased to note that our Grounds Maintenance Contractor has worked tirelessly over the winter months to ensure the shared areas of our community remain both safe and aesthetically pleasing. Finally, I’m keen to share that our Parish Councillors for Gayton remain engaged with the Staffordshire County Highways and Flood Risk teams in an effort to address systemic flooding issues. Please be advised the full minutes from our most recent meeting are available via our village notice boards or online. In the meantime, please feel free to share any thoughts, ideas, or concerns you may have with me or any council member. Your feedback is essential in guiding our decisions and ensuring we address the needs of our community effectively.

Best wishes, Drew Massey, Chair, Weston and Gayton Parish Council.
