SJPCafe is our Church Coffee Morning. All are welcome to join us.
we have good company, good coffee and tea, with amazing cakes and other goodies. all just for £2.

Cubs meets on a Monday at 6:30pm.

squirrels is the newest section in the scouting family and is for ages 4+ and meets on a Tuesday from 4:30pm till 5:30.

Beavers is for age 5 and 3/4's and meets at 6pm on a Tuesday night after Squirrels.

Our Midweek Evening service at St Paul's.
This is a said Evening Prayer service with Bible readings and prayers.

Little Fish is our Stay and Play Group for all pre-schoolers and their parents/ grandparents / carers.

We meet every Wednesday during term time at 9:15 - 10:45.

There are always plenty of toys to play with, a craft or activity, as well as our story time where we hear a bit about Jesus, and we sing some songs as well.

Entry is £1 per family and this includes unlimited tea, coffee, squash, biscuits and a portion of toast.

SJP Youth Club and Multi Media Centre is a new youth club open to all young people free of charge.

Anyone in school years 7 to 13 (or up to17 years of age if no longer in education) is welcome to become a member and access all the clubs resources for free.

The club currently meets on Wednesday evenings from 6pm - 8pm

Our Scout group started almost 100 years ago at St James, it is for anyone from 10-14. Our Scout Section meets on a Thursday Evening from 7pm

We are trying something new this year!!
This year we are doing a pop up nativity.
Bring your children as they are, we will have costumes and they can join in.

Our Carols by Candlelight brings that fuzzy Christmas feeling to all who come. We deck the church out with candles, turn the lights down and sing those good old carols that make us feel christmasy and fuzzy on the inside.
After the service we will have mulled wine and mince pies.

Our Christingle service starts with making the Christingle itself.
We take an orange, put a candle in, we then wrap it in red tape and then put sweets and raisins on 4 sticks that go into our oranges.

After making the Christingle we have a short service where we sing some carols.
As we sing Away in a manger, we light our candles and turn the lights off.

Our candlelit midnight communion is a great way to start Christmas Day, remembering what Christmas is all about, the baby born in the manger.

It is a beautiful quiet service, where we can reflect on the birth of Christ.

Messy Church is full of fun, crafts and games where we learn about Gods word the Bible, and have something to eat together.
