Safeguarding
The parish of West Bromwich: All Saints is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Lichfield’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services
All Saints Church is the historic Church of West Bromwich and there has been a Christian presence on the site since the 11th Century. It is well worth a visit to look around, say a prayer and hopefully join us for a service. A warm welcome awaits you and, during non-Covid times we are open every morning between 10.00 a.m. and 12.00 noon on Saturday mornings. Some of the things that you will discover as you look around these pages will be about the day to day events in the Church. We have a mid-week service on a Tuesday at 10 a.m.
In terms of supporting our local community and congregation, we have parent and toddler groups “Little Saints”, a Lunch Club on a Tuesday, and a Theatre Company “ASPs". We also have two Fayres in the year, Christmas and Summer with Jumble Sales in between. There is plenty going on at All Saints but we still have time for those who want to come and pray and maybe have a chat about those important things in life.
We are here to support you in all your family events and you should find information concerning Baptisms and Weddings. Confirmation is also an important stage in our Christian Journey, when we learn about our Faith. Throughout the year, we have Lent and Advent courses along with other opportunities to learn about Christianity.
Take a look at our School links. We have two church primary schools in our parish with nursery provision. All Saints School, a two-form entry school and St Mary Magdalene, both have excellent relationships and links with the church.
So come along to All Saints and meet the people who are there to serve and to pray for you and West Bromwich.
