Have you got the skills to run hi-res, multi-camera streaming and recording at our site, St Luke’s in Tittensor? We don’t ask you to ‘sign up for church’; we do offer you the chance to practise and develop your skills and help people access events that they otherwise could not.
We are not offering money for this; we are offering an opportunity to ‘play with the kit’ and be in at the start of something exciting for Tittensor.
Our first aim is to be able to stream our Sunday services live onto platforms such as Facebook, YouTube and Vimeo. Our equipment, software and fast broadband connection give that capability.
The purpose is to reach out to those people who cannot come along on the day for whatever reason. The causes for this might be anything, such as illness, infirmity, disability, childcare, holidays or a reluctance to step inside the building.
Along the way, we would expect to be able to provide recordings of those services so that people can participate at times that suit them; after all, they could be in Australia!
Our second aim is to be able to go beyond services of worship. We know that events such as christenings, weddings and funerals are important not only to the people who attend but to many others who cannot. We wish to be able to stream and record them for those who wish it, so that they may have a record of the event or the opportunity for others to be with them ‘over the internet’.
If you think that you have the skills and the interest to take us along on this journey, please make contact. You can reach us on [email protected]. We would be only too pleased to let you take a look around and to listen to your ideas.
