St Edmund & St George Church spring clean on Saturday 1st April

Occurring
for 9 hours
Venue
St Edmund & St George, Hethe
Address
Main Street Hethe Bicester, OX27 8ES, United Kingdom

Everyone will be very welcome to join in with our church spring clean on Saturday 1st April. On the same day we will be doing a variety of work to tidy up the churchyard. There will be an assortment of different tasks to suit people of different availability and abilities. We have plenty of cleaning materials for the church, but if you have any tools for the churchyard work that would be helpful. In past years this has been an enjoyable social event and an opportunity to practice volunteering prior to the King’s Coronation “Big Help Out”!

St Edmund & St George, Hethe

Welcome to the web pages for the Anglican Church of St Edmund & St George in Hethe, near Bicester, in north Oxfordshire.  We are a small church with a big heart!  The church is open all day to anyone who wishes to visit, pray or just enjoy some peace and quiet.  Hethe is "off the beaten track", has some good traditional stone buildings and easy walks into the surrounding countryside.

The parish of Hethe is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). The Diocese of Oxford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
