The Earl of Dudley’s Garden of Memory is a hidden gem/secret garden begun behind a small oak door in the churchyard.
Commissioned by Lady Ednam in memory of her young son who was killed in a cycling accident in 1929. The following year Lady Ednam died in an air crash and was laid to rest in the garden. Since then several members of the family have been buried there. The garden remains in the Dudley Family and can be opened by kind permission of the Trustees.
