Save the DateSaturday 12th October 2024 Doors open at 7.00pm After an outstanding performance in February, Beckeny are returning to the Hixon Memorial Hall to play popular and acoustic music. Becky will also be performing various songs from the musicals taken from her touring show the Magic of the Musicals.Beckeny are a daughter and dad acoustic duo, based in Staffordshire, who provide some very special live music. All proceeds from the evening will go to the Hixon First Responder Appeal.
On 16th June it was been announced in all of our churches that Revd Danny Payne, Curate on Placement with Mid-Trent Churches, has been appointed by the Bishop of Birmingham as the next Vicar of St John the Evangelist, Perry Barr.Danny's licensing will take place early in September, so he will be leaving us in mid-August (dates to be announced once confirmed).
