St Martin’s is a welcoming church family involved in the local community.
Our modern church is both Methodist and Church of England and our worship is informal, family-friendly and led by the music group. Drinks are provided after the Sunday morning service.
Children are an important part of our growing congregation and on most Sundays there’s Smarties for 0-2, SmartKids for 3-11 and Simply Smart for 11+. We love to hear from them when they come back and join us.
Many people take part in our services through leading prayers and reading.
We run a series of small groups that provide a place for discussion, support, prayer and worship – and biscuits! We have a regular programme of social events as well, from shared meals to a pantomime (oh yes we do!). And there’s a thriving Mothers’ Union.
Our building is busy throughout the week and has a range of community facilities available and a nursery and coffee shop, which is open weekday mornings.
