Facilities and features
Accessibility
There is parking in The Oval on evenings and weekends. There are also pay and display carparks in town as well as the Hough Retail Park nearby that has a two hour time limit for parking.
There is a ramp entrance to our church as well as to our Parish Room to the right of the church.
We do have a hearing loop in our chburch.
We have large print communion booklets and most of our Morning Worship Services are on a large screen.
We are very welcoming and understanding with the need for assistance dogs.
We are dementia aware and will accommodate the needs of the person wherever we can.
Our Building
We have many beautiful stained glass windows that everyone loves to see.
Music and Worship
We are blessed to have live organ/piano music on the first and third Sunday of the month.
Groups, Courses and Activities
Beavers (6 to 8 years old) meet on Thursday and Friday evenings during term time and they also have Squirrels for the younger boys and girls (4 to 6 years old) on Wednesday evenings. You can find more information on the 4th's Group website is https://www.4thstaffordscouts.org.uk/
Brownies meet on a Monday evening during term time.
We have a coffee morning on the last Friday of the month where you can come and make new friends or catch-up with existing friends while enjoying fresh coffee (or tea) and a cake, many homemade.
Although the 4th Stafford Cubs (8 to 10.5 years old)needed larger premises due to the expanding group we still have good links. The 4th's Group website is https://www.4thstaffordscouts.org.uk/
We have Messy Church on the 2nd Sunday of every month (except August) where we start with games such as jigsaws, connect 4 etc to start, followed by some crafts (one is normally food related. You then go in to church for fun worship whilst the team tidy up the Parish Room and set it out for everyone to come back in and share a light tea together, including cake. We just ask that all youngsters supervise their adults (lol ;-) ).
We do have a Mothers' Union Group at St Paul's run by Mrs Vivien Heenan. For more details please email St Pauls and we will pass your details on.
We also have a Family Support Group on Tuesday mornings during term time for parents of pupils in St Pauls School. For more information please email St Pauls.
We have a TOTs group on Wednesday mornings during term time where everyone has fun. For more information please email St Pauls.
The Scouts (10.5 to 14 years old) meet on Friday evening after Beavers. They learn many survival skills make friends and have fun on camps. The 4th's Group website is https://www.4thstaffordscouts.org.uk/
We have a Children, Youth and Family Facilitator/Worker who runs clubs including Messy Church
