Sandon Church is the very fortunate beneficiary of a National Lottery Heritage Fund grant to support the development phase of a project to conserve the historic aspects of the Grade 1 Listed church of All Saints. We are offering guided tours of the church and graveyard, the opportunity to chime a bell and enjoy refreshments for Heritage Open Day.
We are particularly keen to welcome as many people as we can on that day as we are keen to extend the audiences that have access to the heritage that is being conserved. Most importantly, this objective is one of the approved purposes for our grant. We are also most keen to find people who have an interest in church history and architecture to join our group of Heritage Ambassadors who will support the ongoing access of people to the church during the conservation phase and beyond. Please come and see us at Sandon on the 17th September to find out more. More details available at:

Safeguarding

Our parish of Sandon: All Saints is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Lichfield’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
