Hazel Matthews encouraged me to attend services and was so welcoming. My favourite time of year in Church is Easter. It is such a special time, with the services in Holy Week culminating in Easter Sunday! The Church always looks so wonderful decked out in spring flowers which is so fitting for a country church.

My favourite hymn is “ I vow to thee my country”

My favourite bible reading has to be Genesis Chapter 1, particularly verses 9-15.

My special memory connected with All Saints' Church has to be our daughter Lucy’s wedding to James and the wonderful service conducted by Rev'd. Philip Daniels.

I also have very special memories of Rev. Dick Sargent’s Remembrance Services with the pennant from his landing craft poignantly draped on the lectern.
